Step 1 : Open GTA 5 on your console and press start.

Then, copy and paste your code from wherever you wrote it down instead of typing directly into the prompt—doing so will greatly decrease the odds of making a mistake due to bad handwriting or incorrectly reading numbers or letters.
Type in the code at exactly the right time. The game recommends that players use their codes while they are playing Grand Theft Auto 5 online, as this will make sure that they receive their funds immediately after redeeming them. Alternatively, if you're not currently online with GTA 5 but want to ensure that your money is credited immediately once your next session begins, select "Next" after entering your code and then disconnect from the Internet so that Rockstar Social Club won't have a chance to process anything during its routine check-in with its servers.
